Shopping centre Skanssi
Citizen service centre Monitori
The citizen service centre Monitori functioning on the 2nd floor of the shopping centre Skanssi is a centre combining services by the City of Turku, the Southwest Finland TE Office, Kela, the Police, the register office and the Turku and Kaarina Parish Union.
By the year 2030, approximately 8 000 inhabitants will move into the new area of Skanssi where a green environment meets new technical solutions. The two-way district heating network that will be used in the area is likely to be the first of its kind in the world. The new model can later be taken into use also in other areas or as a solution for residential areas that require extensive renovation.
Are you looking for a new home?
The area of Skanssi is ideal in many respects: outdoor activity routes, services, energy solutions. Skanssi will become the district of residents who value the environment and it will be an area that mixes living in small apartments and living in blocks of flats with good public parks and a garden.
