The Aitiopaikka banquet hall contains the building’s original protected stone wall. Brimming with history, Duke John’s Cellar is located in the Castle bailey. Built in the 16th century, it has served many functions over the centuries, for instance as a governor’s formal residence. Börs is the oldest, largest and most legendary restaurant-hotel in Turku, located by the market square since 1895. Art Nouveau style banquet restaurant YläBors is one of the most traditional banquet halls and the birth place of the Turku restaurant scene, and has hosted entertainers from singers to jugglers for over a century. The first floor restaurants and the night club can be combined for private functions for several hundred guests.
