Municipalities seek efficiency and savings from blockchain technologies

New directive sets emission targets for road transport vehicles used in the public sector – The Northern Growth Zone responds proactively

A new EU directive that entered into force in August sets new restrictions on the emissions of public transport. The CaaS NDS pilot project to be initiated in early 2020 will support municipalities in their efforts towards emission-free transport and logistics.

One Hour Train

The One Hour Train will strongly develop the railway line between Turku and Helsinki as part of the EU level Mediterranean Sea–Scandinavia core network corridor. The project requires 95 kilometres of new track on the route Espoo–Lohja–Salo and double tracks between Turku and Salo.
